Suppose a pressure gauge is installed at the outlet of an air compressor or a pump. The gauge hand is constantly vibrating when the fluid comes out because the fluid turbulence is so great. Therefore, this turbulence must be eliminated somehow. One of the solutions used to solve this problem is to install a device called snubber under pressure gauge. The sniper is a cylindrical piece that has a small hole at the end and the fluid enters the gauge drop by drop. The cross section of this hole is adjustable on the body with the help of a screw. In case the fluid has sediment, it is not a good method because its hole closes quickly, but in Clean services such as the fluid coming out of the air or water compressor, it is a good method. The connection on the gauge side is NPTF and on the other side is NPTM.
